» Sembassy´s client had developed cutting edge technology already bringing value to many of the largest internet and FORTUNE 500 companies in the world. AOL Time Warner, VeriSign, MSN, Cable & Wireless, Siemens, Mirror Image, AT&T tested client’s technology and confirmed the technology's quality and accuracy.

» Nevertheless, the economic downturn in the internet sector made this client focus it´s strength on the US market and open up for international partnerships. In 2002 Sembassy was proud to be chosen as the partner for the Central European area.

» Sembassy took care of the lead acquisition, presales and pitching process including sales closing and up-selling. Knowing, IT budgets in 2002 didn´t offer any low hanging fruits [especially not for a breathtaking but premium priced technology]. With sales cycles from more than 4 months – Sembassy took a significant part of the commercial risk. While client was named as one of the hottest technology companies worldwide by the Economic Forum in Davos, sembassy had sold client´s technology to platforms (media companies and ISPs) leveraging it to more than 30.000 websites.

Bottom line: Sembassy offered a partnership which exactly has met the client´s needs. A lean and web based sales approach for times with low sales volumes - but a significant visibility to all leading reference customers in this market place.
